IBIZA
Ibiza is a Mediterranean island with white houses, fig trees and
olive fields, idyllic beaches with clear waters and a good gastronomy
based on native fish and plenty of spices. Ibiza is also known as
"white island" and, together with the tiny Formentera,
they form the “Pitiusas” islands.
Ibiza is a very important tourist destination not only because
of its beaches but also for its nightlife. Do not forget that
Ibiza is a world leader in electronic music and the best DJ's
of the moment come in summer to the most famous clubs like Pacha,
Privilege, Space, Amnesia, Eden or Esparadís, for example.
The city of Ibiza “falls” from the top of a hill
to near the sea, where is the old town. It is a city of quiet
spirit which in summer becomes frantic. The epicenter of the city
is the Barcelona street and around it: an area full of bars, restaurants,
shops ... It is said that in Ibiza you can do what you want, dress
as you like because always will be someone more daring.
Ibiza is considered a World Heritage site, not only for its architectural
treasures but also for its natural wonders, for example, its marine
meadows of Posidonia, several endemic species of lizards and dream
beaches with crystalline waters.
