Panarea history is plenty of elite tourism. In Roman epoch, a patrician had chosen Basiluzzo's island to construct a panoramic villa, from which there are some fragments of the wall, the pavement mosaics and the private pier, nowadays plunged.

Here the coasts are formed by stratified and abrupt precipices that hide grottos, plumes and reefs of the most varied forms. The disembarkation only is possible in the natural arrival that remains protected by the Punta de Levante.
